Coders Combat 3.0
On 1st August, UIU Computer Club organized UIU Coders’ Combat 3.0 which is the biggest intra-university competition. The competition saw 150+ programmers battle it out to write their names as UIUs finest. The competition winners list consisted of 11 top programmers and 4 fastest solvers.
UIU Coders’ Combat 3.0 was arranged for the students of UIU who are coding enthusiasts, with a prize pool of 1,00,000 BDT consisting of 23 prizes! In addition, a two day boot camp was organized to introduce competitive programming among the participants and optimize their problem solving skills.
Latin Chakma, became the Champion. Masud Bhuiyan, became the 1st Runner-up and Sayem Ahmed, became the 2nd Runner-up. Emam Hasan, Toyabur Rahman Uthsow, Niloy Kumar Kundu, Abir Hossain Amee, Muminul Islam, Sazzad Hasan, Fahim Shahriar Mahfuzul Alam Rishad are also some of the notable winners.
Our prize giving ceremony were honored by the presence of many notable guests: Professor Dr. Md. Abul Kashem Mia, Vice Chancellor (In Charge) of United International University. Prof. Dr. M. Rezwan Khan, Professor, Dept. of EEE and Executive Director, Institute for Advanced Research; Prof. Dr. Salekul Islam, Professor and Head, Dept. of CSE; Prof. Dr. A.K.M. Muzahidul Islam, Director, Center for International Affairs and Cooperation (CIAC) and Professor, Dept. of CSE; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Shahriar Rahman, Professor, Dept. of CSE; Prof. Dr. Dewan Md. Farid, Professor, Dept. of CSE, Prof. Dr. Swakkhar Shatabda, Professor, Dept. of CSE, Prof. Dr. Md. Saddam Hossain Mukta, Associate Professor, Dept. of CSE, and Nahid Hossain, Assistant Professor, Moderator of UIU Computer Club. Our esteemed guests gave speeches that inspired the programmers and handed over their prizes to them.
We hope to see everyone again, along with some new names in the winners board, in the next venture of UIU Coders’ Combat, where the competition will be even much bigger than anticipated. Until then, stay with UIU Computer Club for more big and unique events!
